Tim Reid, Jr. is Kansas City’s new soul-jazz vocalist, pianist, and songwriter. He has played for large and small audiences in 30 of the 50 States, and throughout England. After getting his start in Chicago between 2002 and 2010, Reid then moved to Los Angeles/Orange County, CA. He has toured the country with multiple acts, including 56 Hope Road and Bumpus (out of Chicago). Now, firmly rooted in Kansas City, MO, Tim Reid, Jr. is assembling some of KC’s finest young musicians to offer his creative voice through his own original music plus some of the greatest Jazz Standards, Soul, and Rock of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Joining him at The Phoenix in October is guitarist George Schram, who has already become a close collaborator in a short time.
