Began playing music when he was 16 years old. His first instrument was bass guitar and he grew to love the 6-string guitar. Since then he's played as a guitarist in a reggae/rock band called Supefly Crew in Tampa, FL. and currently plays acoustic guitar in a progressive bluegrass band in Kansas City, MO.
